Liuba - Way Out

VIA D'USCITA (WAY OUT)

The work begins with the artist sealed in two big white boxes that tie her and block her movement.
It is the imprisonment of the contemporary human being into boxes of duty, convention, ideology and hypocrisy. The action is a progressive liberation of these conditions through the destruction of boxes and masks, to discover our real identity, our real body, our deep inner natural freedom.

"…la liberazione dalle scatole avviene lentamente, dolorosamente, con azioni semplici, giocando su una suggestiva ambientazioni di luci, ombre, colori che accentua il mistero e prolunga sapientemente l'aspettativa. Finché il corpo di Liuba emerge dalle scatole, giustamente nudo perché disposto a una ripartenza totale avendo abbandonato tutto ciò che ne nascondeva la bellezza e la verità; l'abluzione finale è la necessaria ed opportuna conclusione simbolica dell'azione".
